Sarah Marie Mullen fell in love with the harp at the age of five when a harpist visited her kindergarten class. It took seven years, and the organization of a neighborhood wide garage sale, for her to raise the money to buy her first nineteen string lap harp. Sarah began studying the harp with Karen Stern, and later with Diane Michaels. Her interests in music began with Celtic harp, and, in high school, expanded to include the Concert harp. She also studied the piano with Paul Nazzaro for 13 years.

He composed and conducted music scores for a number of television productions and motion pictures, including The Adventures Of Champion, Dick Powell Presents, Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea, The Big Valley, and Lost In Space (starring Bill Mumy). .
