The music project The Ergot was born in 2008 from an idea of Ale (drums), Clo (bass guitar) and Diego (guitar), based on a doom death metal with a strong melodic component. From July of the same year, Joseph (guitar) came in the band, and only in January 2009 the vocalist Eddie completes the band. With this stable line-up, the band starts the composition of first Demo-Ep: Anno Domini MMIX .
Ergo Sum (France) Early French prog/jazz-rock! First known as Lemon Pie, was formed by Ledissez and Guerin in 1968.
