God damn what a 2nd half of this year we?re gonna have with all the great album releases. MTM Classix has some impressive stuff to be released soon and first out is Laos. This AOR/Melodic Hardrock gem was released by Teldec in 1990 and was produced by Erwin Musper (Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Scorpions). Unfortunately this album vanished pretty fast and became a collectors item and was really hard to find but now the people on MTM has taken care of that. D'Callaos is a flamenco rock group formed in Terrassa, Spain in 2004. Current members are guitarist, composer, and vocalist Dani Felices, vocalist Maribel Martín "La Canija" (not to be confused with the Spanish actress of the same name), drummer Sergio Martín, and bassist Carlos Felices. Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Sliang Laos was too short for this world. Anyone that ever saw or heard them was immediately taken by their incredibly biting, harmonic tyranny of sound. Andrew's lyrics and vocal stylings leave the listener dazed and confused all the while ready to break something. Another great band cut down in its prime. Officially, their CD remains unreleased, but a few copies exist in the possession of family and friends of band members. .
