В начале 1986-го года в результате преследований со стороны КГБ, несколько участников группы были направлены в ряды советской армии и группа вынуждена была временно прекратить существование. Diskonto was formed sometime in 1992 when Martin and Malmen wanted something to do besides beeing the usual teenage fucked up things like trying to get as drunk as possible or sniffing glue. We had really been into oldschool Swedish hardcore for some time, and wanted to do play that kind of music. We also played in some other bands as Times Square Prechers and Biomasticator at the time, so Diskonto just rehearsed once in awhile the first 1,5 years or so. Skon is the name of more than one artist 1) Slovakian Doom/Death Metal/Depressive Rock 2) Polish one-man project 1) Slovakian Doom/Death Metal/Depressive Rock project from Carpath ((Warmarch (Svk), Carpathia (Svk), Oldblood, Inferno (Cze), Evil (Svk), Slavigrom). 2) Skon is a unique one-man project based in Poland. With roots in old school industrial he is influenced by more modern electro, gothic and folk artists as well. He released demo called "Nic Realnego" (Polish for "Nothing Real") which is a mixture of harsh electronic beats and folk music.
