Hekel is a black metal band from the Netherlands formed in 1997.

Artist and abolitionist, Lamont Hiebert, has been writing, recording and performing music under the band name Ten Shekel Shirt since 2001. His most well-known songs include the #1 hit Ocean, Fragile, Spark, Meet With Me, Wartime Lullaby and Cheer Up.
Lamont is also the co-founder of Love146 - an international organization working to abolish child sex slavery and exploitation. Many of his songs reflect his commitment to this cause and to the restoration of survivors of abuse and exploitation.
