2 ноября 2004 года в городе Луганске Виталием Караваевым была образована группа Torturer.
К декабрю 2004 был набран первоначальный состав группы. Таким образом в группе появилась басистка Юлия Новикова и барабанщик Олег Новиков.
В марте 2005 года группа начинает записывать демо. Возникает первая кассетная демо-лента, которая записывалась на репетициях и реализована не была.
19 апреля 2005 года Torturer записывает демо-сингл "Wind From The Dark Wood" в лице одной песни на студии "Hot Jam Records".
Летом 2005 года Виталий единолично записыает 4 песни, которые реализованы не были.
В октябре 2005 года в группу был взят второй гитарист Андрей Дорохин.

Torture Squad - является бразильской трэш/дэт группой, основанной в 1990 году в Sao Paulo.
