There were 2 distinct groups named The Cinderellas

1) The Cinderellas recording group was most often made up of members of The Cookies, augmented by Earl-Jean McCrea's sister Darlene. Their records differed from The Cookies in that the lead vocal was usually taken by Margaret Ross rather than Earl-Jean, as on "Baby, Baby (I Still Love You)" and "Please Don't Wake Me".

Some other recordings credited to The Cinderellas (e.g. the "Good, Good Lovin'" demo) may be a slightly different configuration of singers.

2) I would like to add a correction. There were 2 distinct groups named "The Cinderellas" one was 3 black girls and the other 3 white girls. The Yum Yum Yum tune on Decca was the three white girls who were from Hoboken. I just recently met one of them and have been trying to find copies of their tunes. Yum Yum Yum was the flip side of Mr. Dee-Jay.

They also recorded I Was Only Fifteen / You Never Should have Gone Away as a trio and Puppy Dog / The Trouble With Boys as a Duo. All on Decca although I have seen some on the British Brunswick label as well. As far as I know the three records were their only three recordings.

The song The Trouble With Boys / Puppy Dog was released on Columbia 4-41540, in 1959.The other two records were on the Decca label, also in 1959. When they recorded this song they were Jo de Pasquale and Joyce Eyerman of Hoboken.You may see a picture of them (two girls)and there story by going to You Tube and searching for The Cinderellas Puppy Dog.I am not sure who was the third girl that sang with them on the Decca records or which one of the Decca records the extra girl sang on, as I can find no reference to a third girl todate.Further information will be added as it becomes avaliable.
