Jay Stansfield was born in 1980 in Nelson, Lancashire in the North West of England. Signed to White Label Music founded by Ann Shenton and Marc Hunter.

Blessed with childlike high notes and a terribly sweet English accent with an 8 octave range, he has been called an upbeat Jeff Buckley with elements of George Harrison.
