Compact Space was founded by Christian Eigner, Daryl Bamonte and Florian Kraemmer. The former are already particularly well-known among Depeche Mode fans. Compact Disk Dummies is a Belgian electro-punk duo, consisting of two very young brothers (° 1993, 1995) with a penchant for experimentation, buzzing bass and screaming guitars. Minimal Compact were a new wave band, formed in 1981 in Israel by the artists Sami Birnbach (lyrics and vocals), Berry Sakharoff (guitar), and Malka Spiegel (who learned to play bass guitar after joining the band). Formaţia 'Compact' a luat fiinţă în 1977, în Cluj-Napoca, avînd ca membri pe: Marius 'Bubu' Luca - chitară, voce; Cornel Moldovan - chitară, voce; Ladislau Balazs - tobe; Constantin Cămărăşan - chitară; Teo Peter - bas. Debutează pe scena Clubului Universităţii. În decembrie 1977, participă la Galele 'Săptămîna' din Bucureşti, unde lansează piesa 'Spaţii', semnată de Cornel Moldovan. În 1979, Luca, Moldovan şi Balazs părăsesc trupa, fiind înlocuiţi de Radu Marpozan - tobe, Guzu Pap - chitară, Nelu Jecan - voce şi Marian Corjan - voce. În 1980 cîştigă Marele Premiu la Festivalul 'Perpetuum Vox Transilvaniae', iar în anul următor...
