Lightspeed Champion é o projeto musical do ex-Test Icicles Devonte Hynes. O som é diferenciado de sua banda anterior e é uma mistura de elementos de diversos gêneros musicais. O nome vem de uma série de histórias em quadrinhos que Hynes costumava desenhar nos seus cadernos de matemática.
