Pink Floyd é uma banda inglesa formada na cidade de Cambridge em 1965, inicialmente reconhecida pelo estilo psicodélico e experimental durante sua fase inicial e mais tarde por seus álbuns conceituais, letras filosóficas e concertos extremamente elaborados, com combinações muito originais entre som e imagem em todas as suas fases. Após a retirada de Syd Barrett, a banda teve como líder e compositor Roger Waters, que criou muitos dos albuns mais conhecidos da banda. Apink (Korean: 에이핑크) is a six-member South Korean girl group under A Cube Entertainment; a sister company of Cube Entertainment. Pink Guy is a Lycra entity living in the Filthy Frank's universe. No one knows for sure what kind of entity Pink Guy is. He entered Frank's life when he decided he was going to live in Frank's apartment without his permission along with Safari Man. When in danger he calls Chin Chin for aid. It's not known about their friendship or if he is his master. Pink Guy shows subtle political activism, displayed in his many freestyle and rap lyrics. .

In 2000, Alex Sharkey formally of Brighter fame decided to change direction. The result was Pinkie, basically a one-man band featuring Sharkey, but also with some help from former bandmate Keris Howard. In Sharkey's own words: "As time went on I started to realise what was and wasn’t important. I felt inspired to write songs that I could immerse myself in, that I knew had a right to exist.
