John Lee Granderson (April 11, 1913 - August 22, 1979) was an American blues singer and guitarist. Tennessee born, he played around Maxwell Street, South Side Chicago in the 1960s. He was a member of The Chicago String Band along with Carl Martin, Johnny Young and John Wrencher. .
It was after Cerebus Effect’s third release, Acts Of Deception that Dan Britton (keyboards, vocals and some guitars) approached Patrick Gaffney (drums) and suggested they form a new group together. Dan had been working on material of his own and wanted this new group to record this music he had composed and even play it live. Forged in Auckland, New Zealand during the Winter of 2005 under the name DESECRATE by brothers, Autumus (Nathan Baylis) and Arzryth (Aaron Baylis).
