História
Na época da formação (em 1987) os integrantes eram Thomas Rettke (vocal), Bonny Bilski (guitarra), Ingo Millek (guitarra), Manni Jordan (baixo) e Thorsten Müller (bateria). Ainda no mesmo ano Ingo deixa a banda sendo substituído por Sascha Paeth. A banda assinou contrato com a No Remorse Records já com o nome de Heaven's Gate, e lançou seu primeiro álbum, In Control, em 1989. Entraram em turnê abrindo para o W.A.S.P. no ano seguinte e lançaram o mini-álbum Open The Gate And...

The Golden Gate Jubilee Quartet, also commonly called the Golden Gate Quartet, is a vocal group formed in 1931 in Berkeley, Virginia. The GGJQ was influenced as much by the tradition of mid century vocal groups like the Mills Brothers and the Three Keys as it was by the tradition of gospel vocal groups. Secular hits included recordings of "Coming in on a Wing and a Prayer," and "Stalin Wasn't Stalin." Sacred hits included “Give Me Two Wings”and “I’m A Pilgrim." Members included Robert Ford, A.C.
