Desde o hiatus (paralização) de Janne Da Arc, You, Yasu e Ka-yu embarcaram em carreiras solo oficiais. You lançou seu primeiro CD dia 20 de Junho de 2007. Yasu preparou um disco quase na mesma época que You, mas inesperadamente intitulou o Acid Black Cherry como seu projeto de carreira pessoal.
