Hugh Hagood Hardy, CM (February 26, 1937 – January 1, 1997) was a Canadian composer, pianist, and vibraphonist. He is best known for the 1975 single, "The Homecoming", (US #41 pop, #6 easy listening) originally created as music to a 1972 TV commercial for Salada tea, and for his soundtrack to the Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea films. Hardy Nilsson was a 90's Swedish indie/power pop band. They released three albums, Är det värt det? (1993), Att ha och inte ha (1994) and Härifrån (1997). The band was named after a Swedish ice hockey player and reached minor success with the songs "Popsång", "Hela hjärtat mitt" and "Faller tillbaks", all of which got some playtime on Swedish national radio. Members of the band have also had other projects, such as Autorock and Tommy 16. .
