Iniciou sua carreira musical em brincadeiras de rua, frevo de bloco, boi de carnaval, cavalo-marinho, afoxé... Logo em seguida, participou da fundação do grupo Comadre Fulozinha, sendo esse seu primeiro trabalho profissional. Nesses 10 anos atuando mercado musical, teve privilégio de trabalhar ao lado de músicos como Antônio Carlos Nóbrega, Siba, Silvério Pessoa, Zé Neguinho do Coco, entre outros... Desde 2004, idealizou e coordena o projeto coletivo Folia de Santo, que se propõe a compor músicas baseadas nas tradições ligadas ao “catolicismo popular”. O CD homônimo está em fase de finalização....
