There atleast two bands called Bumper: 1. an 80s electric funkband. 2. a swedish power pop band. Bumper (1): Members Geoffrey T and Mr. Pauli met in Hague (The Netherlands) in 1999 and realised the world was getting seriously unfunky. Something had to be done. Both being heavily influenced by 80's electronic funk, it didn't take long before the two started working in the studio, trying to recapture some of the vibes from those days. Bass Bumpers is a German dance music production team, currently made up of Henning Reith, Caba Kroll, Andreas Litterscheid (aka CJ Stone), Reinhard Raith (aka Voodoo from Voodoo & Serano), Massimo Nocito, Sven Koslik, Frank Knebel (aka Thomas Gold) and Chorn Pin Chang (aka Akira Yamamoto). The group had a number of hits throughout the 90s including "Good Fun", "The Music's Got Me" and "Move to the Rhythm". The original members were Henning, Caba, vocalist Felicia Uwaje and rapper/MC Ian Freeman (aka E-Mello). .
