As a guitarist and keyboardist for Scottish futurist math rock band, American Men, Claude Speeed has a knack for putting together shimmering synthetic sound environments. After Glasgow’s LuckyMe label put out American Men's debut 'Cool World' EP, Claude busied himself with his first solo record - a mixture of hyperactive drums and synths lost in a wall of sound that bears traces from Phil Spector to My Bloody Valentine. His singular approach to noise and groove also translated to remixes for like minded artists such as Brooklyners Dead Sands or playing guitar for labelmate Mike Slott's new album. .
