Phyllomedusa is a solo project started in 2007 by a musician from Maryland, USA, who calls himself Big Frog. As follows from its name, the project's imagery has a lot to do with frogs and related animals. Musically, Phyllomedusa is a combination of goregrind and power electronics known as gorenoise. Big Frog has an extensive discography spanning over a hundred releases and has several other projects including Macrophagous Gilled Larvae, Crustacea Zoëa Larvae, Toad Birth, olm, Omphalectoicxanthopsia, and Unconcentrated Faeces Otengeny.
