WALLENSTEIN were a band that transcended a number of musical styles during their decade-plus of existence, from early krautrock to symphonic to space rock toward the end of their existence. WALLENSTEIN’s original lineup was centered around keyboardist/vocalist Jürgen Dollase and drummer Harald Großkopf, both of whom would go on to make names even bigger for themselves in the German music business (Dollase with THE COSMIC JOKERS and Großkopf as a founding member of ASHRA and later the CENTRAL EUROPE PERFORMANCE). Many moons ago, way down in darkest Hampshire, there was once a band called The Lens. With their spacy, melodic and mainly instrumental music, they were hardly the darlings of the late 1970's music press which were championing the cause of punk rock and the New Wave at the time, but that didn't bother The Lens. Not only were they producing some very innovative music, they were popular too, and gigs around the Southampton and Bournemouth areas were generally packed to the rafters. Aldous Byron Valensia Clarkson (April 13, 1971) is a Dutch singer. Influenced by Kate Bush, Queen and Duran Duran, Valensia's self-titled first album contained the hit single "Gaia". Since then he has released several quality albums with little commercial success. He has also released albums with the bands V (with Robby Valentine) and Metal Majesty (with his brother David). .

Semper Dolens is a duo-project between Matthieu Sachs (France, also a member of Lethian Dreams & Remembrance) and Misha Nuis (the Netherlands, also in Akelei & Bastaard). We met on the doom-metal.com forum where Matthieu was looking for a male singer for some new songs he had written. We quickly found to have a similar taste in melody and so agreed to work on this project together. This is very much an online collaboration, recordings are sent back and forth via email and finally mixed in France. We are currently working on material for a demo. The first 3 songs...
