Goo Goo Dolls é uma banda de rock alternativo dos Estados Unidos, formada em 1986, em Buffalo. Seus integrantes são Johnny Rzeznik (vocais e guitarras), Robby Takac (baixo e vocais), e Mike Malinin (substituto de George Tutuska na bateria).
Com uma mistura de pop rock alternativo, o trio alcançou seu sucesso nos anos 1990. Seu quinto álbum, A Boy Named Goo, foi o primeiro sucesso comercial da banda. Rzeznik, órfão que começou a morar sozinho com 15 anos, tocava em diversas banda locais, e fazia um curso para ser aspirante de encanador. A banda não se chamava Goo Goo Dolls...
Crazy Dolls is an alternative, synthpop and pop rock duo from Rīga, Latvia formed as electronic and punk rock trio around 1995 and during time have changed their musical flow.
They have released two full length albums till split up in 2000. Latest of them LP Sveiciens published on Mapls in 2001 includes song Milžu cīņa of legendary Latvian band Dzeltenie Pastnieki. Some previous tracks are also included in local independent compilations.
In January 2010 they announced their reunite.

Surgiram por volta de 1971, frequentadores da loja de Malcon McLaren em Nova York, acabaram por formar os New York Dolls, usando as roupas da estilista V. Westwood. Apareceram numa época onde Stooges, que voltou só em 1973 e Velvet Underground não faziam mais a cena underground, nem os MC5 também. Lançaram três albuns oficiais: New York Dolls (1973), In too Much too Soon (1974), One Day It Will Please Us To Remember Even This (2006)

The Pussycat Dolls foi um grupo musical feminino de pop, dance e rnb, fundado por Robin Antin. O grupo começou como uma trupe burlesca em 1995, na Califórnia, Estados Unidos. Depois de atraírem atenção nacional, Robin Antin negociou um contrato com a Interscope Records, em 2003, e a trupe foi recriada como um grupo musical no mesmo ano. Originalmente o grupo era composto por Nicole Scherzinger, Melody Thornton, Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt, Jessica Sutta e Carmit Bachar.

Mydolls began in 1978 in Houston, Texas with Dianna Ray and Trish Herrera writing a few songs together. Later Dianna and Trish were joined by Linda Bond/Younger and the three went in search of a drummer. After several attempts of working with drummers, Trish's cousin, George Reyes joined the band and the sound took off with his powerful connection to Dianna Ray's bass playing. This gave Trish and Linda a lot of room to play with their guitars in a very unconventional way.
