Low Roar is the brand new project from a remarkable song writer, Ryan Karazija, who used to call San Francisco, California home. Whilst in the US you may have known him as the singer for the band Audrye Sessions, who managed the mighty task of giving over their signatures to the Sony BMG sub-label, Black Seal. They had attempts at EPs and albums, but seemed to receive mixed reviews at best, eventually causing Ryan to re-assess. Two groups currently record under the moniker AroarA: There is the "industrial-goth-hobo" husband-wife power duo of Broken Social Scene guitarist and Apostle Of Hustle frontman Andrew Whiteman and Ariel Engle, formed in 2011. The two plan on releasing an EP interpreting experimental poet Alice Notley's "In The Pines" with their own experimental somber-folk with programmed dance beats, presumably to be released this year. The name Uproar belongs to multiple artists. One is a punk band from North East England, got back together for a reunion gig at Newcastle Carling Academy in February '08 and have been touring the UK since. They recently undertook a full-scale American tour, covering most states. Another was a Group out of Wichita, Ks that jokingly called themselves emopopmetal. The group from Kansas was made up of Isaac and Kerry Burrow, John Farthing and Andy Douty. They disbanded to pursue careers in normal people jobs. .

The Mighty Roars are a female fronted 3 piece alternative rock band from London and Europe signed to One Little Indian Records London. Formed by David Pringuer (drums, vocals) and Lara Granqvist (bass, guitar, vocals) in 2004 after they met Martin Pilkington (guitar, vocals) through an advert in NME and began gigging in London.
