Dominick Martin aka Calibre is the 1st exclusively Irish Drum and Bass artist.
Classically trained in violin, he dropped this for drums and began playing in various bands, before finding early Detroit techno and house. His inspiration around that time is said to wander around the likes of Kenny Larkin, Carl Craig, Juan Atkins, the Orb.
His brother introduced Calibre to drum and bass and jungle, which at first he couldn’t follow the pattern as he felt it was too relentless and 'beaty', and so at that point he preferred four to the floor drumbeats from the US house style....
cali≠gari ou cali∦gari (カリ≠ガリ) é uma banda japonesa visual kei formada com o conceito eroguro. Foi formada em junho 1993 e teve seu nome dado em homenagem ao filme "O Gabinete do Doutor Caligari", apesar de a grafia inicial ter sido cali+gari. A banda cessou suas atividades em junho de 2003 e voltou a ativa no ano de 2009 com um estilo mais pop e com tendências eletrônicas. A banda gravava álbuns de forma indie até 2003, com a gravadora Misshitsu Neurose, pertencente ao guitarrista da banda Ao Sakurai. Mas, a partir de 2002, a banda passou a ser gravada...
HALCALI (ou ハルカリ, Harukari) é uma dupla japonesa de cantoras de hip-hop. HALCALI é a junção do nome de ambas, HALCA (Haruka) e YUCALI (Yukari). Ambas foram alunas de uma escola de dança desde a infância. Elas ganharam o grande prêmio "Female Rapper Audition". Seu primeiro álbum, "HALCALI Bacon" foi lançado em setembro de 2003. Elas se tornaram as primeiras rappers femininas a estarem no ranking Top 10 da Oricon, ocupando o 5º lugar.
