Beginning his activities from Sapporo, Japan as early as 2006, he has become a big name in the house scene with his trademark three turntable setup and hybrid style of music, and regularly hosts his event MUSeUM at Club Yellow in Roppongi with fellow artist Masanori Morita of Studio Apartment. The Goombay Dance Band was a German-based band of the 1970s created by Oliver Bendt. The band is named after a small bay on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia. Their music had a distinctive sound, a mixture of Caribbean Soca or Calypso and western Pop music.
