Husband and wife duo Amarante, aka Jysi and Josh Hewitt, have been creating, recording and producing their music themselves in Fresno, CA, since 2011. Their new album Udana Prana opens the door to new musical directions, adding touches of folk and hints of acoustic pop to their subdued ambient sound. .

Amaranthe, anteriormente chamada Avalanche, é uma banda sueca-dinamarquesa de death metal melódico formada em Gotemburgo, SWE em 2008 por Jake E e Olof Mörck (Dragonland, Nightrage). O "projeto" Avalanche começou a tomar forma quando os cantores Elize Ryd e Andy Solvestrom , o bateirista Morten Lowe e o baixista Johan se juntaram à banda.
