Da Babylonianz is a hip-hop duo that consists of Sole and Pedestrian, the co-founders of Anticon.

"This is a project by myself and the pedestrian around 2000 AD. The project began one night when we were drunkenly going through old Live Poets (my first rap group) ADAT's and found unused beats... we started freestyling over them on some classic 4 elements Rakim Era meets DMX shit... somewhere along the line we haphazardly decided to give it a "Red Dawn" theme and started reppin' Wolverinez crew. Everything on here is freestyle, some of it is offensive. Its hard to tell where all these beats came from, but thats the beauty of this shit. Before we did this we were really focused on high minded conceptual art rap and this project was a great release that brought us back to our earlier love of 80's/90's rap. This was a CDR that we sold a hundred of and no one ever heard it again, but its such a hillarious and fun album we wanted to make it available for free to whoever wants it." – Sole .
