Whiplash é uma banda norte-americana de thrash metal fundada em 1984 em Passaic, New Jersey.

Baixista Tony Bono morreu em 2002 depois de um ataque no coração, aos 38 anos.E para seu lugar veio Rich Day (Death Corps, Primal Scream, Moondog).
A banda atualmente prepara seu novo album (Unborn Again) que sairá no mês de Maio/Julho de 2009 e ja é certa sua participação do Wacken Open Air 2009.
