~About the Band~

Transpose was started at the beginning of 2006 in Beverly, Massachusetts. In May 2006, the band's vocalist, Brian Paone and Guitarist, Josh Givens, moved to Jacksonville, FL and recruited ex-Ashes Of Osiris bass player, Tim Sigler & and drummer, Jason Bonner. Immediately the foursome started writing the songs for the debut album, while playing shows from Kingsland, GA to Orlando, FL. Gold certified producer Scott Fravala attended a local show and was impressed enough to approach the band and offer them to record the debut album, "A Delicate Impact" at his studio in Orange Park, FL. The album was released independently in April 2008 to positive reviews and impressive sales at shows and on iTunes.
Transpose prides itself on being genre-bending, mixing styles of post-hardcore with progressive metal and screamo. Crediting the Deftones, Tool, Thursday, and Lamb Of God as the main influences, the band created its own sound in the process.
Transpose's shows have stretched from Savannah, GA to Orlando, FL and they have opened for bands such as Tub Ring, Fed Up, New Day, Sore Eyes, and Future Leaders Of The World. The first single, "Only The Dead Go Free" was part of WJAP radio's rotation throughout the summer of 2008.
In 2009, Tee-Jay Monghan, joined Transpose as lead guitarist and kick-started the band into the future. Tee-Jay has become a major impact in developing new material and new sounds.

~Reviews~ "Refreshing to see a band not following trends and creating something not heard before. The more you listen, the more you enjoy." - ITUNES REVIEW (April 2008)
