Pezzettino is the project of singer-songwriter, Margaret Stutt. The solo debut album, “Because I Have No Control” was released in September 2008, and Margaret is touring in support of the release. Pezzettino means "little square" in Italian, and this project is a nod to Leo Lionni's illustration book of the same title. Look for appearances with the wizard alliance, currently consisting of Wiz Nez on drums. This winter they will be recording two full-lengths, "Lion" and "Lamb", scheduled for release in 2009.

Margaret was trained in classical piano at the local convent, and is self-taught on her father’s accordion. Her influences include Yann Tiersen, Sufjan Stevens, Andrew Bird, Tchaikovsky, Bach, The Avett Brothers, Bjork, The Cranberries, Erykah Badu, Juliana Hatfield, Ben Folds, Sheryl Crow, and Billie Holiday. .
