Keisha Jackson is an R&B/Soul singer from Brooklyn, New York. She is the daughter of distinguished R&B/Soul Legend, Millie Jackson. She grew up immensed in music. She got the the opportunity to release her self titled debut in 1989. The album scored a moderate R&B hit "Hot Little Love Affair" which peaked at #39 on the R&B chart. Her sophomore titled, "Keisha" followed in 1991. The lead single "Mature Love" became a minor hit peaking at #80 on the R&B chart. After did not become a success, Keisha became a session vocalist at LaFace Records. She worked on track with Bobby Brown, Toni Braxton, and Whitney Houston. She became involved with a Warner Bros. Records plan to create a group called Black Coffy and was signed to the project. However, the group was dropped before making any real recordings. Keisha still continues to record and perform and has created her own agency One Voice Entertainment. She peforms often as a backup singer with Erykah Badu's band. .
