1. Psychocore (German: PsychoKore) is a subcategory that derived from the US Horrorcore. The latter mainly has mystical and occult content but Psychocore is mainly about real violence that people do to each other

2. Any type of music, emitting a psychotic aura, through either instrumentals, or lyrics, resulting in coming off as psychotic, not-sane, or insane, with sporadic thoughts, rhythms, lyrics and/or themes.

"Traditional" Psychocore was coined (approximately in 2005) by German rapper Blokkmonsta - best recognized for Growl rapping or shouting like in Death Metal, and brutal texts which are often inspired by splatter films. Blokkmonsta often makes direct references to horror films like Saw, Hostel etc. The beats are made wth strong influence of US Southern Rap, esp. Crunk and Memphis Rap

It can be portrayed in any main music genre, including, but not limited to, rap, hip-hop, R&B, rock, metal, death metal, emo, screamo, acoustic, indie, country, bluegrass, folk, trance, techno, dub-step, & even christian music. .
