To niezależny artysta, który urodził się i wychował w Australii. Mike Rosenberg, w 2000 roku przyleciał do Brighton, gdzie wraz z grupą Passenger wydał, później chwalony przez krytyków, debiutancki album. W 2007 roku członkowie tego zespołu zdecydowali się iść własnymi drogami. Rosenberg zatrzymał nazwę zespołu i jako trubadur grał i śpiewał na ulicy.
