SUBHUMANS w latach 1980-1985 byli jednym z najbardziej płodnych i oryginalnych zespołów na angielskiej scenie punk. Nigdy nie nagrali złej płyty i rzadko zdarzało im się zagrać kiepski koncert. Grupa powstała w Warminster, Wiltshire (Południowo-wschodnia Anglia) w składzie: Dick- wokal, Bruce- gitara, Phil- bass i Trostky-perkusja. Wcześniej Dick śpiewał w zespole The Mental założonym przez kumpli z Internatu z którymi nagrał jednego singla. Z kolei Bruce udzielał się w kapeli Stupid Humans również pochodzącej z Warminster. Dick i Bruce spotkali się przypadkowo na koncercie Angelic Upstarts w 1980 roku i kiedy rozpadły się ich macierzyste formacje postanowili grać razem pod...

The songs of this young dutch singer/songwriter are not happy. But since the release of “A World Full Of Melodies”, in december 2007, there is also hope. The Subhumans sprang from the moist and foetid undergrowth of the British Columbian rain forest in the spring of 1978, and were soon a vital part of the wild, raucous, and tempestuous Vancouver punk scene. Often political with a satiric edge, in 1980 the band recorded its debut album, "Incorrect Thoughts" for another small Vancouver label and toured through much of the U.S. and Canada, gigging with such bands as Black Flag, Husker Du, Minor Threat, the Dead Kennedys, X and Bad Brains.
