The Indigo to japoński zespół muzyczny wykonujący pop/rock. Grupę tworzą Taoka Miki (田岡 美樹) odpowiadająca za wokal i teksty piosenek oraz Ichikawa Yuuichi (市川 裕一) komponujący muzykę.
Zespół powstał w roku 1998. Pierwszy singiel - "BLUE" został wydany 24 maja 2000 roku. Następnie powstał kolejny singiel pt. "きかせて" ("Kikasete") oraz pierwszy pełny album grupy "BLUE" wydany 27 sierpnia 2000.
The Indigo jest znane głównie z openingów i endingów do kilku serii anime jak "Ai Yori Aoshi", "Ai Yori Aoshi ~Enishi~", "Someday's Dreamers" i "Animal Yokocho".

The retro-swing unit Indigo Swing were formed in San Francisco around the sextet of vocalist Johnny Boyd, guitarist Josh Workman, bassist Vance Ehlers, drummer "Big Jim" Overton, pianist William Beatty and saxophone player Baron Shul. After kick-starting northern California's new school of swing, the group began touring around America and signed to Time Bomb Recordings in 1997. The group's debut All Aboard! was released in July 1998. They followed with Red Light in 1999. .
