Amerykańska grupa The Seeds powstała w Los Angeles w 1966 roku. Jej założycielem był Sky Saxon (prawdziwe nazwisko Richard Marsh), występujący wcześniej w zespołach Sky Saxon & The Soul Rockers i The Amoeba. The Seeds byli kultową grupą w L.A. i modnego wówczas nurtu undergroundowego. SEEDA is a bilingual Japanese rapper and part of the Scars crew along with I-DeA. His debut album Detonator was released under the name Shida Da Shadi in 1999 and was produced in it's entirety by I-DeA.
