Istnieje kilka zespołów o tej nazwie: 1) Xero - brytyjski zespół z nurtu NWoBHM założony w drugiej połowie lat 70-tych. 2) Xero - pierwsza próba stworzenia albumu (Xero Demo Tape) przez niepełny skład zespołu Linkin Park. W trakcie tworzenia materiału z zespołu odszedł udzielający się w niektórych późniejszych utworach grupy Mark Wakefield (zastąpił go Chester Bennington), z tego powodu prace nad albumem przerwano. Utwór "Rhinestone" jest wczesną wersją utworu "Forgotten" z pierwszej płyty grupy, Hybrid Theory.
