Necrophagist - grupa muzyczna z Niemiec reprezentująca nurt technicznego death metalu. Założycielem zespołu jest Muhammed Suiçmez, którego charakterystyczna neo-klasyczna technika grania na gitarze jest wizytówką zespołu.
Po nagraniu dema, wszyscy członkowie zespołu odeszli. Muhammed własnoręcznie nagrał debiutancki album "Onset Of Putrefaction" (1999) i zajął się jego produkcją. Po roku album ukazał się pod skrzydłami wytwórni Noise Solution Records. W roku 2002 do zespołu dołączył Christian Münzner. W lecie roku 2003 gotowy był materiał na następny album, jednak w zespole nadal brakowało perkusisty i basisty. The Micropops was established in 2007 as a small urban pop project run by Håkon Njøten. The songs took the time based on the demos from Hakon's "kitchen studio" and created involvment in the underground by being very melodic at the same time exuded something more incomprehensible and mysterious.
