HOARFROST jest projektem dark ambient/industrial, stworzonym w 2006 roku na Śląsku, przemysłowym regionie Polski. Pierwszy album HOARFROST – „Dungeon” wydawnictwa Kaos-Ex-Machina – ukazał się na początku 2007 roku. Był historią ludzkiej izolacji i niemożliwości ucieczki od bólu. W tym samym roku HOARFROST napisał dwa utwory na kompilacje KEM: „Old eastern lands” na album „Where are You, Europe?” i „Electroconvulsive therapy” na “See You in sanitarium”. Opublikował także w KEM split z Mrokiem „The girl, who loved tattoos”, inspirowany Ilsą Koch, sadystyczną żoną komendanta obozu koncentracyjnego w Buchenwaldzie.
