Shigeru Matsuzaki (松崎しげる, Matsuzaki Shigeru, born on November 19, 1949 in Tokyo, Japan) is a Japanese singer, actor and TV celebrity. Matsuzaki picked up music at university after being forced to stop baseball due to being wounded to the elbow, and formed the band ミルク (Milk) with 日高富明 (Tomiaki Hidaka) and 堀内護 (Mamoru Horiuchi), who would later form the band ガロ (GARO). After the band dissolution, Matsuzaki successfully passed an audition at Victor Entertainment and released his first single, 8760回のアイ・ラブ・ユー (Hassenshichihyakurokujuukai no I Love You), in 1970.
