Formed in Madison, Alabama in 1988. Released 2 demos (A Taste of Bile (Live), It's Not Our Fault...), 2 LPs (Eulogy for a Dying Fetus, De-Evolution) and an EP (Dreighphuck), between the years 1988 and 1994. .

Skeletal Remains - amerykański zespół deathmetalowy należący do nurtu New Wave of Oldschool Death Metal, pochodzący z miasta Whittier znajdującego się w Kalifornii. Powstał z inicjatywy wokalisty i gitarzysty Chrisa Monroy'a i perkusisty Christiana Reyesa. Do grupy dołączył basista Adrius Marquez i na krótko gitarzysta Mike De La O (zastąpiony później przez Adriana Obregona). W 2012 roku Skeletal Remains wydało płytę Beyond the Flesh, dzięki której zespół stał się rozpoznawalny. W zespole można dostrzec wyraźne inspiracje takimi grupami jak Pestilence, Death, Cancer, Obituary i Morbid Angel. Jest to jeden z najważniejszych przedstawicieli nurtu New Wave of Oldschool Death Metal.
