Legion88 is a french identity rock band/rock against communism. Some members of the band comes from the band Totenkopf which played Oï! music. In 1986, Legion88 is composed of 5 members : Vico,Jean,Fred,Domi and the lead singer Alain, the previous singer Geno drown into The Loire. Nowadays, this band doesn't exist anymore and this band is forbidden in France because of their racists songs. .

The band consists of Keith Slettedahl (vocals, guitar), Adam Merrin (keyboards), Todd O'Keefe (bass guitar) and Anthony Zimmitti (drums). The group has released five albums since their formation: "Kind of Light" (2003), "Over and Over" (2005), "Not Only...But Also" (2008), "This Must Be Love" (2009) and "The 88" (2010). Additionally, the group provided the soundtrack to the 2012 film "The Lorax". The group's song "At Least It Was Here" is the theme song from the American sitcom "Community". .

Ludwig von 88 is a French punk rock group, that was very active on the alternative rock scene during the 80's and 90's. Their music is full of humour despite touching very sensitive topics like most of the wars that happened in the late 80s and 90s, drugs, corrupt French politicians, road accidents... They managed to make a generation of young French laugh about every sad thing that was going on around them. The Group started sometime during 1983, their first album "Houlala" was released in 1986. They haven't released anything since 1999 but the group haven't officially split. .
