Snow Patrol – stworzony w 1994 roku zespół grający alternatywnego rocka. Grupa została założona przez dwójkę szkockich studentów: Gary'ego Lightbody oraz Marka McClellanda, początkowo grających pod nazwą "Shrug", zmienioną w 1995 na "Polar Bear" i zastąpioną w 1997 roku obecną ze względu na zbieżność nazw z amerykańskim zespołem.
