Kansas - amerykańska progresywna grupa rockowa powstała w początku lat siedemdziesiątych. Dla rocka amerykańskiego Kansas jest tym czym dla brytyjskiego były grupy Genesis, ELP lub Yes. Kansas była jedną z niewielu grup amerykańskich, które włączyły się w nurt progresywnego rocka. Charakterystycznym dla grupy było bogate brzmienie oparte na obecności w składzie skrzypiec, dwóch gitar prowadzących, symfonicznego brzmienia instrumentów klawiszowych, łagodnie brzmiącego i silnego śpiewu oraz na rozbudowanej ornamentyce. Dołączyć do tego należy interesujące liryczno-filozoficzne teksty. Mimo niewątpliwej progresywności, grupa zdołała utrzymać hard rockowy, a nawet metalowy charakter swej muzyki. The Wizards From Kansas were an obscure country-psych rock group, formed 1968 in Kansas. In July and August of 1970 , the Wizards From Kansas recorded their eponymous debut album in San Francisco. During the recording of the album, several band members decided they would rather play jazz, and duly departed to pursue their interests. Shortly thereafter, The Wizards From Kansas disbanded. Formely "We Are Trapped in Kansas" now "Trapped in Kansas" started June 2008, it includes 4 studenty type chaps that all live either together or a few minutes away from each other in the fine coastal town of ayr. We ocassionaly escape to do the odd gig. Ghosting Season is a side-project from Gavin Miller and Thomas Ragsdale from Manchester, UK. It was born in 2011 out of the foundations of worriedaboutsatan.
