The Sydney based four and sometimes 5 piece have just released their debut, the ironically titled mini-album Extended Play. From the inner west the band is delivering a refreshing vibe to the Australian music scene, they began when drummer Beaks and bass player Paddy, met busker Dylan, one night outside the Coopers Arms hotel in Newtown. Goldfinger to ska punkowy zespół z Kalifornii w składzie John Feldmann (wokal), Darrin Pfeiffer (perkusja), Kelly Lemieux (gitara basowa), Charlie Paulson (gitara elektryczna). Cała historia zaczyna się w 1994 roku w Kalifornii. Otóż było tam dwóch kumpli, którzy się nazywali John Feldmann oraz Simon Williams... Pewnego dnia postanowili założyć kapele ska/punkową, w której perkusistą miał być Darrin Pfeiffer, gitarzystą Steve Geiger, który został potem zastąpiony przez Charliego Paulsona. Simon, zainspirowany filmem o Bondzie, zaproponował nazwę Goldfinger. Jeszcze w tym roku chłopaki nagrali swoją pierwszą demówkę "Richter", która się bardzo spodobała panom z wytwórni Mojo Records i już w 1995 roku...

Demo Zoltana bardzo spodobało się perkusiście Jeremy'emu Spencerowi. Obaj panowie umówili się na spotkanie i miesiąc później zaczęli we dwóch tworzyć materiał na album....

The Fingertips debut album in 2003 achieved first place on radio airplay charts with the single “Melancholic Ballad”. This was followed up with two more releases (2006 & 2007) which saw the band repeating their success with top radio airplay once again. The band has a loyal fan base and has supported Nelly Furtado, Queen, George Michael, The Corrs and others.
