As the lead singer and co-songwriter of Highwater Rising, Aidan has written songs that have been featured in several feature films as well as virtually every major hit TV show including: THE OC, SEX and the CITY, NORTH SHORE, BOSTON PUBLIC, LAGUNA BEACH and ONE TREE HILL.
The band's second album, The In Between, was co-produced by multi-platinum producer Eric Valentine (Smash Mouth, Queens of the Stone Age, Persephone's Bees). With 9 of its 10 tracks licensed, the album is one of the most licensed independent albums of all time.

Light of Aidan came into being when two writers and producers both with a passion for music, in particular chill-out/ambient music, got together to inspire each other and to to try and create a fresh innovative sound. The result is three tracks signed to Chill-out label "Cafe Del Mar" and collaborations with some of the finest singers around. Light of Aidan continue to make music together and separately whenever needs must.

Aidan Baker - kanadyjski muzyk i pisarz, pochodzący z Toronto, obecnie mieszkający w Berlinie. W jego muzycznym instrumentarium dominuje gitara elektryczna lub akustyczna i perkusja. Od 1999 r. aktywnie nagrywa i wydaje muzykę (w swojej własnej wytwórni Arcolepsy Records lub u innych niezależnych wydawców) pod własnym nazwiskiem lub wspólnie z basistką Leah Buckareff jako drone ambient/doom metalowa Nadja, z Richardem Bakerem i Christopherem Kukiel jako etniczno/eksperymentalny ambient Arc, z Richardem Bakerem i Rodinem Columb jako Mnemosyne. .
