Formed in 1978 and consisting of Willie Gardner (Vocals & Guitar), Billy McIsaac (Keyboards), Russell Webb (Bass) and Kenny Hyslop (Drums); this is, in fact, the entire PVC2 line-up minus Midge Ure. They are probably best known for the track "Mourning Star", of which the melody line was borrowed for "hymn" (Midge Ure was a member of Ultravox at that time and co-wrote hymn).
They broke up in 1979. Webb & Hyslop joined The Skids within a year and Hyslop later joined the Simple Minds. .
Cabezones was formed in 1994 in Santa Fe (Argentina). Their first work was a demo called 'Electroshock' containing 4 songs. Then in 1997 came their first album, 'Hijos de una Nueva Tierra'. Later, in 2000 they recorded 'Alas' with the support from the ex-Soda Stereo Zeta Bossio Cabezones reaching the multinacional discography Sony. Their sounds differs drastically from 'Electroshock' and 'Hijos de una Nueva Tierra' to the later albums: The first ones are more heavier and underdone with more screams. Les Amazones de Guinée are an all-woman band from Guinea, west Africa. Formed in 1961, only three years after Guinea gained independence, the group is strongly identified with Guinean national pride and all of its members are also officers in the Gendarmerie (internal security force). Led by Haba Niepo "La Reine," the group tours extensively. The Amazones have had as many as 15 or 20 members at one time, and individual members have also had recording careers — notably Sona Diabate, Condette Kouyate, and M'mah Sylla. .
Between The Zones is an industrial and ambient rock band from France, created in 2005 by Gom as a purely industrial project but turned into a band in 2008.
The actual lineup consists of Gom (vocals, guitar and keyboards), Ontoum (guitar), F-RaiD (drums), Nico (bass) and in© (keyboards). The main influences for the band are a mix of bands and artists, primarily Nine Inch Nails, A Perfect Circle, Black Light Burns, Isis, Joy Division, The Cure, David Bowie, Kurt Harland and The Information Society, Collide, Massive Attack.
