Deep Purple - brytyjska grupa rockowa. Jeden z pierwszych i najbardziej wpływowych zespołów grających hard rock. Grupa powstała w 1968 początkowo w składzie Ritchie Blackmore (gitara), Jon Lord (organy Hammonda), Chris Curtis (perkusja i wokal). Jednak niedługo w zespole nastąpiły znaczące zmiany kadrowe. Z pierwotnego składu pozostali tylko Jon Lord i Ritchie Blackmore, a do nich dołączyli: Ian Paice (perkusja), Rod Evans (wokal) oraz Nick Simper (gitara basowa). W tym okresie grupa nosiła jeszcze nazwę Roundabout, dopiero po kilku miesiącach zmienioną na Deep Purple. Po pewnym czasie muzycy zdecydowali, że Rod Evans nie pasuje do Deep Purple i w 1969...

1.A side project of STANDARTE's drummer/vocalist Daniele Caputo, this fairly recent Italian trio took their name from the very style of music that was played in the London underground during the late 60's. Caputo is joined by bassist Marco Piaggesi and keyboard player Gianluca Gerlini. Bassist Stefano Gabbani eventually replaced Piagesi and then guitarist Gianni Vergelli also joined in. Their style is similar to STANDARTE albeit much less heavy, and the guitars are used sparingly, leaving room for Gerlini to shine on the Hammond organ, Mellotron and Moog. Their albums feature...

They have been featured four times on the annual national compilation "BOCA" (Best of College A Cappella).
