Allister - grają rock, pop punk, punk rock. Zespół powstał w Chicago w 1996 roku. Założyli go John Hamada, Tim Rogner i Eric "Skippy" Mueller w szkole średniej. Jego pierwsza nazwa brzmiała Phineas Gage. Z biegiem czasu zmienił nazwę na Allister. W 1998 do zespołu dołączył basista Scott Murphy.

Alister Flint stepped into the world of electronic music after having been heavily influenced by key albums such as Tangerine Dream’s Stratosfear or Rubycon, as well as having performed as a techno DJ in free parties in southern France.
