The German duo DKDENT consists of Dirk (music, programming, synthesizers) and Stephanie (lyrics, vocals). The cities they live in have a long tradition of electronic music: Dirk comes from Düsseldorf, known for bands like Kraftwerk and Die Krupps, Stephanie from Cologne, the homebase of Mouse On Mars. They met in 2002 and started to record their first demos in 2003 followed by a couple of live appearences. DKD- stands for a collaborative effort from Daz-I-Kue, Kaidi Tatham (both from Bugz in the Attic), and Dego (4 Hero). future rage was the seminal release of the collaboration. nu-jazz/broken beat at it's best!!! .

Latin pop vocal group DKDA was formed as part of a popular Mexican soap opera called Sueños de Juventud, based on a teen pop band returning to its native country after a successful international tour, soon, dealing with fame and fortune.
