Chromatics to amerykańska grupa z Portland, powstała w 2002 roku. Obecnie w jej skład wchodzą: Ruth Radelet, Adam Miller, Nat Walker i Johnny Jewel. W 2007 roku wydali swój pierwszy album "Night drive". Ich muzykę można określic jako synthpop, post punk, experimental. Chromatics zachwycają perfekcyjną kombinacją melodyjności z nowoczesnymi brzmieniami oraz delikatnym wokalem Radelet. Znani są również z ciekawych cover'ów (np. Kate Bush). .

Mimo że nagrywają dla wytwórni Italians Do It Better wcale nie pochodzą ze słonecznych Włoch, a z Portland w stanie Oregon. Nie mają nic wspólnego z inną grupą o tej nazwie – wokalnym sekstetem ze stanu Maryland, który specjalizuje się w coverach i… astrologii. Ich styl to fuzja muzyki gitarowej i elektronicznej, często określana modnym terminem punk funk. Chromatone is Lawrence Hoffman, a San Francisco native who has been producing electronic music for over a decade. Working as a professional audio consultant, producer, engineer, he is also doing mastering for many labels: Vaporvent, Peak Rec, Geomagnetic.tv, Mind Funk, Noise Poison, Drop Out, plus a growing list of clients.
